Methodology review status

OODPCVS 2025 numbers are not published by SighThor yet.

The 2025 IEC publication exists, but SighThor has not recorded the licensed normative thresholds and independent CCTV specialist approval needed to use them defensibly. Numeric selection and distance calculations therefore remain disabled.

A deliberate evidence boundary

No invented table. No silent substitute.

SighThor keeps unavailable methodology visible instead of turning an unverified secondary-source table into apparently authoritative output.

OODPCVS 2025

Numeric thresholds, zone distances, and compliance language are unavailable pending a licensed normative source and independent specialist review. Existing saved selections are shown as unavailable, not recalculated with a substitute.

IEC 62676-4:2014 nominal DORI

This legacy nominal model remains available as a transparent planning aid. The publication was revised in 2025. Its output does not prove identification, installed performance, evidential suitability, or compliance.

What a defensible report still needs

Simulation accelerates review; it does not replace it.

Use modelled geometry to prepare the discussion, then preserve the checks that make the final decision defensible.

  1. 01Confirm the exact standard edition and licensed normative requirements.
  2. 02Verify camera, lens, compression, lighting, mounting, and scene assumptions.
  3. 03Commission and test the installed system under representative conditions.
  4. 04Have a competent CCTV specialist approve the interpretation and evidence.

Turn a site brief into an inspectable planning draft.

Start with terrain-aware geometry, then review every source, limitation and field check.
